Engineer of the Week - Eliot!

Eliot shared many photos, some favorite
baby outfits, and a beautiful teddy bear.

Eliot reads My Leafs Sweater to the class.
The funniest thing happened when Eliot
read this book at home to his sister.  When he
read the line that said, "Mom, do you think I could
get a Leafs sweater for my birthday?" his mom
heard him and said, "No, Eliot."  Eliot said,
"I wasn't talking to you, Mom."  Third graders
got a good laugh over that!

"Michael wants nothing more than to be just like his hero, Darryl Sittler,
captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs. His search for a Sittler sweater he
can proudly wear in his own games lands him at Maple Leaf Gardens
where he watches his hockey hero play in what will be an historic game. Michael
soon discovers that there is much more to the love of hockey than just having
the sweater of your favourite player."
