T-shirt Bags!
Thanks for the donations of T-shirts.
Our friend Nan also donated several T-shirts to our cause.
Thanks! Nan!
This shirt was a favorite of Nan's. It says, "I'll get
you my pretty!" The story goes that Nan's dog, Sadie,
knew that if Nan put on this shirt the tag/chase game was on!
Evidently it was Sadie's favorite shirt, too!
Third graders used this t-shirt to make a bag for a Nan!
It's a keeper.

The students gift wrap t-shirt bags. Nan helps out!
"Shop Till You Drop" Math!
Using a variety of fliers and catalogs, third graders
"shopped till they dropped" during math.
They had $500 and 20 minutes to shop for gifts for their
family members. They had to purchase at least one gift per
family member. They were allowed use calculators to keep
track of their spending. Wow, were they fast shoppers!
John won the prize for coming in closest to the $500 mark,
spending $496.94. The family prize! A Kit-Kat sled with
candy cane runners and a load of mini
Hershey bars!
Eli got a prize, too!
