Reading in the "Spotlight!"

Third graders wrote about what they did
 over the Thanksgiving/Hanukkah break.
They then read under the "Spotlight!"
 Eli enjoyed Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, and
three play dates!

John had a fun snowball fight with his cousin,
saw the movie "Knock-out," and made a 20-foot
long paper chain!

 Nora enjoyed Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, sledding,
having a play date, and making a gingerbread house
for the Folk Life Center Gingerbread House exhibit.

Paige enjoyed Thanksgiving, saw the movie
"Frozen," had a snowball fight and sledding race,
went ice skating, and decorated the house for the holidays.

Carter got new snazzy sneakers in Burlington,
enjoyed Thanksgiving with family friends, and had
several play dates.

Jack played baseball with his dad, ate lots of food,
bought a gem from his dad's store, and saw the
movie, "Frozen."

Naomi visited her gramma and grampa, waited for her
cousins to get to her grandparents, then enjoyed
Thanksgiving with her cousins, went to a wedding, and
had brunch with some of the wedding attendees.

Eliot played football in the mud, played NASCAR
with his cousin, had a great Thanksgiving, and saw
a really neat train exhibit at a botanical garden where
all of the buildings were made out of plants.
