Students placed small particles of leftover material from
their "mock rocks" into a vial, added water, shook the vial to mix
the material with the water, then let it settle. Once settled,
students poured liquid from the top of the mixture into an
evaporation dish. When the liquid had evaporated, below is
what students found. Any ideas???
Ask a third grader about the crystals that remained.
