This week's BrainPOP was about angiosperms
and gymnosperms. Today students signed in by illustrating
one or the other. Ask a third grader to explain what determines
whether a plant is an angiosperm or a gymnosperm.
whether a plant is an angiosperm or a gymnosperm.
Hmmm! Are tomato plants angiosperms or gymnosperms?
Students also learned about flowering plants that fall into the
categories of monocots and dicots. Monocots have
flower parts that come in multiples of three. Dicots have flower
parts that come in multiples of four and five!
